Un voyage au pays des rêves

This is the story of a little boy whose name was Adrien and who lived at our era, in a charming village in the Parisian suburbs.

A little boy with no history, living with his grand-parents since he was a toddler because Adrien never got the chance to know his parents. He was a curious child, fearless and sometimes even daredevil. He was very brave and had a true passion for stars.

Despite his young age, he very often went out of his bedroom’s window in the middle of the night to climb on the biggest tree, that grew in their garden for over a century.

He appreciated the calmness of the night, and spent his time there looking at the sky, imagining himself elsewhere…

Adrien was young, and like every kid at his age he had…an imaginary friend. A friend with whom he could talk, play, confide in. He was a real life companion, here by his side forever…

However, adults could not see nor hear those imaginary friends of all the children around the world. They observed their kids playing, talking, teasing with creatures they thought were coming from their imagination.

But those imaginary friends were real.

They were creatures whose calling, from the birth of a child on Earth, was to accompany and protect them during their whole childhood….

Over the years, children grew up and forgot about their faithful companions’ existence, which little by little disappeared from their memories…

Those creatures of all sizes and shapes lived in the Dreamlands…their presence in the real world was only punctual. They came furtively to children’s sides to make sure that everything was going well.

Those creatures looked sometimes goofy, sometimes improbable. They sometimes looked like giant big-hearted fluffs.

Two worlds exist…

The real world and the Dreamlands…

The Dreamlands are a fantastic and wonderful world. Inhabited by billions of creatures from millions of different tribes.

Thousands of colours exist there that are unfindable on Earth.

Sounds..

Music…

Tastes…

Flavours…

Physical laws are different. We feel lighter.

There is not one but twelve suns shining in the sky.

The sky has several colours…purple…yellow…orange…green…

During our sleep, our minds briefly wander into the Dreamlands.

Furtively…

When we wake up as adults, we are convinced that those short instants in the Dreamlands are nothing but the fruit of our imagination…

Time spent in the Dreamlands is not the same.

One week in this wonderful world corresponds to one hour in the real world.

Creature from this universe, unlike our world, speak a unique and common language. Most of the time, it is a place of harmony and peace, despite sometimes hostile tempers from certain tribes. A minority of them take pleasure in breaking the balance that exists in this world. Those tribes are enemies of humans, adults or children.

Among those tribes lives a true evil Queen. The Dark Queen with an evil and maleficent spirit, who demonstrates her anger by spreading fear and terror.

They release such a frightening energy that when we are sleeping, we are experiencing what we call nightmares…

The Dark Queen has a phantom army. This tribe is characterized by enormous hands, which are four times the size of a man. She has limited influence in these lands. An influence which she wants to grow. More and more…

All her attempts to break the Dreamlands balance failed, but her ambition remained intact.

Until, one day…

Still animated by rage towards humans, she decided to capture all children’s imaginary friends with her horde and lock them up for ever in the vast dungeons of her realm.

One by one, imaginary friends disappeared.

The children were sad. Their loyal companions were not coming back to visit.

The Dreamlands were suffering from the disappearance of part of its population…

This is how our hero’s quest began.

Adrien, the journey to the Dreamlands….
